Raffle Quilt to Benefit Potsdam Animal Shelter

An original quilt entitled “The Animal Friendly Village” was donated by the Borderline Quilters to the Potsdam Humane Society on Wednesday, Sept. 1. Shown with the quilt in the photos below are Animal Shelter Director Anne Smith, Potsdam Humane Society Board President Bonnie Boyd, and Jan Fife, vice-president of the Borderline Quilters. The quilt is composed of house and tree blocks accented with a variety of animals. The blocks were made by guild members and assembled into this quilt, which will be used as a fund-raiser by the Potsdam Humane Society. The Borderline Quilters created this quilt as a community service project to help the Humane Society.

Note to guild members - I tried to add these photos to our web site and could not figure out how to do it!
